Are these ASO tools really free?

Yes. Every tool on this page is free to use and none of them require an account. Some run entirely in your browser; the ones that read a live store listing fetch public store data only.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no signup step and no credit card. ASOScan itself is a paid platform with a 7-day free trial, but these tools work without any of that.

Which tool should I start with?

If your app is already live, start with the free ASO scan — it scores the listing and tells you what to fix first. If you are still preparing to publish, start with the app category picker and the character counter, then follow the App Store or Google Play publishing guide.

Do these tools work for both the App Store and Google Play?

Yes. Every tool covers both stores, and the ones where the two stores genuinely differ — field limits, screenshot sizes, categories — show each store separately rather than averaging them.
