ASO keyword density analyzer
Paste your app description and see which keywords and phrases it actually emphasizes. Keyword density matters most on Google Play, where the full description is indexed for search — over-stuffing reads badly and under-using your core terms wastes the field. Free, runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded.
Your top keywords and phrases will appear here as you paste a description.

What is a good keyword density for an app description?
On Google Play, 3–5 natural mentions of a core keyword across the description is a healthy range — enough for the term to register without reading as stuffing. There’s no single magic percentage; readability and natural language matter more than hitting a number.
Does keyword density matter on the App Store?
Much less than on Google Play. Apple does not index the long description for search, so density in an iOS description mainly affects how the page reads, not ranking. On Google Play the full description is indexed, so density there is a genuine ranking factor.
Can keyword stuffing hurt my app?
Yes. Over-using a keyword reads badly to users (hurting conversion) and can be treated as spam by the store. Aim for natural language that uses your core terms a few times, not a wall of repeated keywords.
Is this keyword density tool free?
Yes — it’s free, needs no signup, and runs entirely in your browser; the text you paste is never uploaded. It’s one of ASOScan’s free ASO tools.
