ASO SKILL · CLAUDE CODE, CODEX, CURSOR & ANY AGENT

Expert ASO, in your AI workflow.

Install the ASOScan skill into Claude Code, Cursor, or any Agent-Skills-compatible assistant and just ask. Your agent pulls real keyword volume & difficulty, your app's rank, opportunities, competitor keywords, and review sentiment straight from your ASOScan account, then gives you specific moves instead of generic advice.

Real numbers from your account, the same data the ASOScan dashboard shows, turned into a next move.

01

Real data, not guesses

Every answer is grounded in live ASOScan data via your API key: keyword volume & difficulty, your rank & movement, opportunities, competitor keywords, reviews. It won't feed you hallucinated "best practices."

02

The whole ASO workflow

Nine skills cover ASO fundamentals, setup & connect, keyword intelligence, opportunities, keyword spy, competitor analysis, review insights, and a metadata audit. The agent routes your request to the right one automatically.

03

Honest by construction

Clean numbers, no data-source noise. It never claims review replies or ads boost ranking, and never invents reviews. Recommendations sell the outcome (visibility and conversion), not a mechanism.

SET UP ONCE

Running in three steps.

  1. 1

    Install the skill

npx skills add ASOScan/aso-skills in Claude Code, or add the repo as a remote rule in Cursor.

  2. 2

    Add your API key

Create an ASOScan account, add an app, mint a key in Settings → API access, and export ASOSCAN_API_KEY=….

  3. 3

    Just ask

"Find keyword opportunities for my app." "What are my top complaints?" "Audit my listing." The agent does the rest.

What you need to know. The skill needs an ASOScan account and an API key. There's no anonymous mode. It works on the apps in your account (and their tracked competitors); to analyze a new rival, it adds that app as a competitor first. Live keyword research spends more credits than a simple read, so the skill uses it sparingly. Like everything at ASOScan, nothing here claims a guaranteed rank change.
REASONABLE QUESTIONS

Honest answers,
including the "not yet"s.

What is an Agent Skill?

A small instruction file your AI coding assistant loads to gain a specialized capability. The ASOScan pack teaches Claude Code or Cursor to do App Store Optimization using live data from your ASOScan account.

Which tools does it work with?

Any client that supports the open Agent-Skills (SKILL.md) standard, including Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, VS Code and 30+ more. Claude Code is the reference environment; the data skills work in any agent that can make HTTP requests, and the aso-fundamentals skill works everywhere with no key.

Do I need an ASOScan account and API key?

For the data skills, yes. They read the keywords, ranks, and reviews you track in ASOScan, so they need an account and an API key. The general aso-fundamentals skill works with no key; everything data-driven needs one.

Which plans can use it?

Every paid plan includes API access, with a monthly credit allowance that scales by tier. You mint the key from your dashboard and the skill reads it from an environment variable.

Is the skill itself free and open-source?

Yes. The skill pack is MIT-licensed and free on GitHub. It needs your ASOScan API key to pull real data; the frameworks and templates are open.

Give your agent
real ASO data.

Start a trial on any paid plan, mint a key, install the skill, and ask your first question in minutes.
