Do I need an API key?
No. Sign in with your ASOScan account on the consent screen; ChatGPT handles the rest. If you'd rather keep an API key in your own coding agent instead, see the ASO Skill for Claude Code & Cursor.
How is this different from the ASO Skill for Claude & Cursor?
Same ASOScan data and the same API credits, two different front doors. The ChatGPT plugin is for chatting about your apps with no setup beyond signing in. The Agent Skill pack is for your coding agent and needs an API key you export yourself. Use whichever one you're already in.
Which plans can use it?
Every paid plan, trial included, with its own monthly credit allowance. Each tool call uses the same credits and limits as the public API.
Will it ever post or publish something without asking me?
No. A review reply or a localized listing draft posts only after you approve the exact text in the chat, and a reply works only for an app connected to App Store Connect or Google Play Console. It never publishes listing text on its own.
Is a Claude version available?
Not yet. The ChatGPT plugin is live today; a Claude connector is in progress.
